The Jungle Friends Foulard

We partnered with an Indonesian workshop to produce our designs with batik tulis, a traditional hand-drawn wax-resist technique. These batik silk foulards are created using a process that takes about 10 days, from drawing the motif to sewing the hand-rolled hems. These hand-painted works of art are dried in the sun, resulting in vibrant colors that do not fade. Unlike printed scarves which may be lighter in color on the reverse side, the colors in our foulards completely saturate the fabric and is reversible.

Each piece is unique and slight variations are characteristic of their artisanal quality. Our foulards are shipping in our custom box with drawer insert and muslin pouch for easy storage. We hope you treasure them as future heirlooms.
